Hello friends and quilt loving new comers to my little sewing space. I'm so happy you're here. I'm very excited to finally share that the Brightwood Quilt pattern is officially complete and ready to be on its own out in the big wide world! This pattern has been a long time coming. There have been many ups and downs during it's making. I'm so happy to report that after lots of working with testers and countless edits and tons of cheering from my support team (family/friends), this little quilt pattern is SO solid! I am incredibly proud of it and can't wait to share it with you all!
Brightwood Quilt Pattern- And A Quilt Kit
For me, the Brightwood Quilt is a perfect blend of timeless traditionalism with modern minimalism. It has all the the charm of the star points we love along with loads of secondary shapes, but the abundant negative space gives it a decidedly modern edge. It's exactly my kind of quilt!

It is loaded with options for size and style. It comes with instructions for 5 sizes and optional borders. The scrappy version and some of the modern versions, use fat quarters. There are no flying geese units. And lastly, it's just super fun to make!
I've included a coloring sheet in the pattern. You can make several copies, grab your crayons or colored pencils and try out some color placement ideas. This quilt looks gorgeous with both solids or prints, or my personal favorite, a combination of both!
