Hey there!! If anyone is in the mood for a super modern and beginner friendly new quilt pattern, I’ve got you covered!!
Remember way back when, in March of last year, when I finished a cool new quilt just for fun? Well a bunch of folks contacted me for months about that quilt and requested that I make a pattern for it.
So, I finally did it!! The Shelter Quilt Pattern is live and ready for you to add your unique inspiration to! I can’t wait to see what you’ll create!
I have been on a major Shelter Quilt making obsession lately! Warning, they are a bit addictive since they come together so fast and they’re super fun!
Great for a quick but impressive handmade gift item, or a sweet little something for yourself! This pattern gives fabric requirements and instructions for 3 sizes, pillow, wall hanging, or large wall hanging/crib. Because they come together so quickly, you may even have time to spend on some hand quilting treatment. I used Sashiko thread here and love how it finished off this pillow.
I just love how many ways I can play with this design using new color palettes and swaping out prints for solids, etc. It’s creative play, my favorite kind of play!
Mitered borders complete this design and give it that very professional, expert level quilter look, without actually being expert level. You can really impress friends and family with this one! Pick up your copy HERE!
