I'm thrilled to finally be able to offer you my first IMPROV quilt pattern! The Framework Quilt pattern is a beginner friendly, modern improv pattern that offers 6 size options and is great for either scraps, fat quarters, or your favorite stash yardage.
I have made 5 versions of this quilt over the last two months. Each one has a very different mood and feeling, based on the color palette and how much I do with my improv blocks. I love that about this design.
Improv quilting is near and dear to my quilting heart and I'm so happy to be able to share this part process, part pattern design with you.

I designed this modern, improv quilt after playing with some of my most favorite scraps and an old favorite technique. I wanted to provide awareness for how fun and accessible improv piecing could be, as well as a way for new quilters to utilize the techniques and have some structure to bring it all together.
